| Telekom-cyclist Erik Zabel, who
also likes to ride “on the boards” in the winter,and the multiple track
champion Jens Lehmann,were the first to receive the newly printed Trackcycling
2003 from sports photographer Hennes Roth.
Both of them are to be seen in the calendar, Zabel on the front page. Trackcycling 2003 is the first
calendar, which is dedicated exclusively to this demanding discipline of
cycling. It presents its elegance, aesthetics and dynamics on 13 high-quality
pages with photos of track cycling stars such as Jens
Fiedler, Arnaud Tournant, Leontien van Morssel-Zijlaard, the
German pursuit team as well as scenes from several six days.

| The Makers of the Calendar:
The photographer: Hennes Roth from Pulheim (Cologne/Germany) has worked as a sports photographer more than 30 years. His specialities are cycling and ice hockey. He worked at more than 100 world championships. The editor: Journalist Renate Franz from Cologne has been involved in track cycling for many years. She is also the author of a book about the cycling world champion Albert Richter, who was killed by the nazis The Forgotten champion and organized the Cologne track cycling event Die Freitag Nacht. The designer: Günther Ganter, head of the Cologne media company ABC//GWS, used to be a racing cyclist himself. Being an enthusiastic fan and promoter of cycling races, he likes to accompagny the services of the major races. |
