A TRIBUTE TO NATALLIA TSILINSKAYA
As a tribute to eight time World-Champion (500m TT/sprint) Natallia Tsilinskaya, the Belarussian state realised this new velodrome in Minsk as part of a huge sport complex. 21 November 2008

Ralph Schürmann hands over the track to a happy Natallia Tsilinskaya
"I have seen Natallia competing on the track on many Championships and I have always admired her strong dedication to be the first. Specially in sprint it was a pleasure to watch her style and attitude.
I specially remember her victory during the Worlds in Bordeaux. I have rarely seen somebody celebrating her success like Natallia did.
It was a special pleasure to me to build a state-of-the-art track in her hometown and to lay the foundations for an ongoing track-riders development in Belarus, for which Natallia will always be an idol to look up to".
